On November 24, 2016 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SGS and the Ukrainian Grain Association, uniting the Ukrainian and international grain companies, and one of the leading organizations in the grain business.

This Memorandum of Understanding provides a framework for cooperation between both parties in the field of agriculture, including production, processing, inspection, verification, testing and certification, trade, exchange of information and technologies.

Both SGS and the Ukrainian Grain Association are interested in promoting their respective activities and exchanging information in the following areas:

  1. Trade: Promoting dialogue for greater transparency and predictability in agricultural markets and international trade
  2. Communication: Sharing experiences and exchanging information on the inspection, verification, testing and certification of agricultural products
  3. Promotion: in Ukraine of best global practices on inspection, verification, testing and certification of agricultural products
