SGS has opened a new agricultural laboratory, located in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is an analyst member of FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association).

Following the success of a similar lab in Medan, North Sumatera, we have expanded our existing line of services for the palm oil business, to meet increased demand for testing. Indonesia, the world's largest producer of palm oil, has seen demand for the product increase rapidly over the last 20 years.

Our new Banjarmasin laboratory is just 15 minutes from Syamsuddin Noor airport and conveniently located to provide transportation access to all cities on Kalimantan. This drastically reduces turnaround times and preserves the quality of samples, due to shorter shipping times.

Our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment can meet all your testing needs, as well as providing all mandatory and optional FOSFA analyses. On request, we can also test for the following:

  • Pesticides
  • Heavy metals
  • And many more

SGS is also a superintendent member of FOSFA and can provide market research services, audit services and certification.
