The Sherwin-Williams Company Elects New Director
Richard J. Kramer, Chairman, CEO and President of Goodyear
Tire & Rubber joins the Board
CLEVELAND, OHIO, April 19, 2012 - The Sherwin-Williams
Company (NYSE: SHW) announced that Richard J. Kramer was
elected to the Board of Directors of Sherwin-Williams at
the company's annual meeting. Mr. Kramer, 48, is
Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and
President of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Mr.
Kramer was appointed to the Audit Committee of the
Board.

Mr. Kramer has served as Chairman of the Board, Chief
Executive Officer and President of Goodyear since 2010. Mr.
Kramer joined Goodyear in 2000 and has held various
positions including Chief Operating Officer; President,
North American Tire; Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer; Senior Vice President, Strategic
Planning and Restructuring; Vice President, Finance - North
American Tire; and Vice President - Corporate Finance.
Prior to joining Goodyear, Mr. Kramer was with
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 13 years. Mr. Kramer is also
a Director of Goodyear and a Trustee of John Carroll
University.
