"Mirai Tsubaki Activity" is the social contribution activities which started in 2012 with Shiseido's 140th Anniversary as an opportunity for the purpose of expressing the gratitude to customers/people in local communities that have supported the Shiseido's development so far.

For all employees of the Shiseido Group, each Shiseido Affiliate itself has been formulating and implementing plans.

We will not only work on activities to help customers and local people together as one by enhancing internal sense of solidarity, but also deepen exchanges with local communities.

We have been working on our job with refreshed feelings due to the widened standpoint, sense of fulfillment and sense of accomplishment which are acquired through this activity and different from the job.We named the activity "Mirai Tsubaki"(*) with a "hope that flowers which can brighten the future will bloom"

*Mirai means future. It symbolizes the spirit of innovation.Tsubaki means Camellia. The Camellia mark has been long used as a trade mark since we shifted our focus to cosmetics. TSUBAKI symbolizes the hearts of employees of the Shiseido Group as well as the mutual trust established between stakeholders.

The Mirai-Tsubaki Activitiy is built around the notion of the two words; with all the heart of group employees, we initiate activities to create beauty and wellness.
