  • Software platform for integrated communication in control centers
  • Communication by telephone, VoIP, intercom, electro-acoustic equipment, and now Tetra as well
  • Integrated as standard into the Siemens Siveillance Vantage control solution, connection to third-party systems and stand-alone operation also possible

The Siemens Building Technologies Division introduces the latest release of its Siveillance Connect communications platform. Dispatchers use the software, which now also supports Tetra (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) digital radio, for efficient on-site planning and control of emergency response team deployment. The platform is suited for the security control centers and fire brigades of critical infrastructure, such as airports and power and industrial plants.

Siveillance Connect bundles and consolidates all control center communications when there is an emergency. Control center employees have an up-to-date overview of all information received through various communication channels. Siveillance Connect provides an ergonomic and intuitive touchscreen user interface. This simplifies dispatcher activities, enabling them to concentrate on their coordination tasks. Such focus is crucial in emergency situations.

Siveillance Connect supports analog landlines, ISDN, VoiP (Voice over IP), analog radio, cell phones, fax, intercom, electro-acoustic equipment, and Tetra. The new release enables Tetra group conversations and SDS messages (Short Data Service), making for more flexible and reliable communication with response teams.

Communication with all connected systems is possible using a single audio/voice unit. The software can be installed on any standard hardware and configured individually by the user. Siveillance Connect is integrated as standard in Siveillance Vantage, the Siemens control center solution for critical infrastructure. Connection to third-party systems and stand-alone operation are also possible.
