Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy : The Company communicates the signature of a contract for the supply of wind turbines in India with a total capacity of 300 MW

SIGNIFICANT EVENT

As per section 17 of the Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014, on market abuse and section 228 of the restated text of the Securities Market Law approved by the Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015, of 23 October (texto refundido de la Ley del Mercado de Valores aprobado por el Real Decreto Legislativo 4/2015, de 23 de octubre) and related provisions, the Company announces the following statement:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. ("Siemens Gamesa" or the "Company") through its Indian subsidiary Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, has signed a contract with Sembcorp Green Infra (subsidiary of Sembcorp Energy India Limited (SEIL)), for the supply of a total of 143 wind turbines for a wind farm to be located in Gujarat state, in western India, with total capacity of 300 MW.

The agreement encompasses the supply, construction, installation and operation of 143 turbines of model SG 2.1-122, being the wind farm due to commissioning in April 2019, as well as the maintenance of the wind farm for a period of ten years.
