Sika is the world leader in manufacturing and marketing construction chemicals. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- construction chemicals (80.4%): admixtures for concretes and mortars, repair mortars, reinforcement and sealing products, sealants, etc.;
- other (19.6%): adhesives and sealants (mainly polyurethanes, glues, and butyls) primarily for the automotive, railway and shipbuilding sectors.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Switzerland (6.3%), Europe (36.2%), Asia/Pacific (18.1%), North America (14.6%), Latin America (12.1%), India/Middle East/Africa (5.8%) and other (6.9%).
