The Board of Silex Systems Limited ("Silex") (ASX: SLX) (OTCQX: SILXY) has today elected

Dr Lisa McIntyre as Chair.

Dr McIntyre was appointed as a Non-executive Director of Silex in July 2012 and has extensive experience on public company Boards.

Silex CEO & Managing Director, Dr Michael Goldsworthy said: "We are delighted that Lisa has taken on the role of Chair of the Silex Board. Lisa has already made a valuable contribution as a Non-executive Director and has an in depth understanding of Silex's core business, values and mission. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with Lisa in her new role as Chair of the Board."
