Silovye Mashiny OAO : Power Machines manufacture a turbine for Siberian Generating Company’s plant

Power Machines OJSC manufactured and tested a 120 MW steam turbine for the fourth power unit of Siberian Generating Company (SGC)'s Tom-Usinskaya TPP.

The parties signed the contract for production and supplies of two steam turbines with a capacity of 120 MW each for the fourth and fifth units of Tom-Usinskaya TPP in December 2010. Power Machines will not only manufacture and supply turbines under the contract but also supervise installation and commissioning of the equipment.

Both the units at Tom-Usinskaya TPP are scheduled to be put into operation in 2013-2014. The upgrade will facilitate improving plant performance reliability as well as increasing quantities of generated electricity, required for further region development. The work is part of the SGC investment program.

Besides the two turbines for Tom-Usinskaya TPP, Power Machines are manufacturing equipment for other two plants of SGC's Kemerovo branch - Belovskaya TPP and Kuznetskaya TPP. The production and supplies of the turbines for SGC's Kemerovo branch must be fully completed by Power Machines until 1 June 2013.
