Silovye Mashiny OAO : Power Machines manufacture an impeller for Zhigulevskaya HPP belonging to RusHydro JSC

Power Machines OJSC has manufactured the fourth impeller for Zhigulevskaya HPP.

Its weight amounts to about 280 tons and its diameter - 9.3 meters. In the nearest time this large-sized object will be prepared for shipment to the plant.

Power Machines carry out an order for RusHydro JSC to produce equipment for the upgrade of hydropower units at Zhigulevskaya HPP. The Company is to produce in total 14 new hydroturbines, as well as 14 sets of equipment for the partial replacement of main components of the existing hydrogenerators.

Three hydrturbines and four sets of generator equipment were already supplied to Zhigulevskaya HPP in accordance with the signed contract in 2011-2013 and two hydropower units fitted with new equipment was started up in 2012-2013. At present we carry out the assembly and installation of another hydropower unit (the third one) and its start-up is scheduled for November this year.
