Singapore Exchange (SGX) and SIM University (UniSIM) will hold their first-ever jointly organised Investor Education Day on 13 September 2014.

The theme of the event is "Start Your Investing Journey Today: Investing Today Matters Tomorrow". Organised with students and young adults in mind, the Investor Education Day aims to educate investors on the risks and returns of investment products so they can make informed investment decisions.

Partners for the event include MoneySENSE, Securities Investors Association (Singapore) or SIAS, and the National Library Board (NLB).  Guest speakers include Straits Times Senior Market Correspondent Goh Eng Yeow and Kevin Scully, Executive Chairman and Founder of equity research firm, NRA Capital. Mr Goh will speak on "Investments Made Simple" while Mr Scully will tell us why "Saving is not Investing".

The event is open from 9.00am to 4.30pm at SIM University, 461 Clementi Road, Block A, Level 1, Bamboo Courtyard, and SIAS, NLB, and Straits Times Press will have exhibition booths there. Admission is free and registration is atwww.sgx.com/academy .
