2012, with improvements in design and content.
Today, more than 300 advertisers and marketers
were invited to an exclusive preview of the new My Paper at
a trade launch at The Exchange, located in Asia Square

which will carry lifestyle news and features of interest to
young working adults.
The Chinese section of My Paper will be enhanced with more
extensive and authoritative coverage of Asian entertainment
and lifestyle news.
My Paper will focus on various topics throughout the week.
On Mondays, there will be a new spotlight on parenting,
with news, opinion pieces as well as useful guides for
young parents.

development while Wednesdays will feature popular travel
destinations and useful tips.
The popular entertainment section will continue in My Paper
every day, with a special highlight on the hottest
blockbuster movies on Thursdays. Fridays will feature
lifestyle and other shopping related news.
Each day, there will also be news on the latest technology
and gadgets. The new sports pages will feature popular
recreational activities such as cycling and diving.
Mr Felix Soh, Consulting Editor of My Paper, said: "My
Paper has always scored firsts in Singapore's
journalism history. It was Singapore's first free
Chinese language newspaper when it was launched in 2006. It
then evolved in 2008 into the country's first free
bilingual newspaper, with an award-winning revamp in 2009.
Through the years, it has gained popularity with a loyal
group of readers who look forward everyday to the paper's
unique take on local issues and its lifestyle and
entertainment news and features."
He added: "With the revamped My Paper, our readers will
find an even greater focus on issues and topics of
relevance to them, brought to them in a way that makes it
easy for them to read in their busy working lives. To these
readers, the new My Paper has become a must-read
newspaper."
Ms Elsie Chua, Executive Vice-President, Display
Advertisements, Marketing Division, said: "My Paper
offers the unique proposition of being the only free
bilingual newspaper in Singapore. Designed for the busy
working adult, the revamp offers a more vibrant and
relevant connect for them. With an increasing population
size that includes new immigrants who are literate in both
English and Chinese, we are confident that this young and
upwardly mobile group of consumers will relate well to this
revamp."
