Singapore, 15 January 2018 - Into its sixth year, Asia's largest educational kids' fair SmartKids Asia partners with SAFRA (Singapore Armed Forces Recreation Association), bringing its popular theatrical segment, Storyland, to three SAFRA locations in the heartlands.

On 28 January, SmartKids Asia will introduce Storyland at its first stop of the heartland tour at SAFRA Jurong. This will be followed by one-day visit to SAFRA Toa Payoh and SAFRA Punggol on 4 and 10 March respectively.

SmartKids Asia's heartland tour aims to provide educational entertainment for children and parents during the weekends. The tour will also feature businesses from education, enrichment services, children-centric brands and products.

Mandy Wong, Business Director, International, Sphere Exhibits, said: 'We have attracted more than 60,000 visitors at SmartKids Asia 2017. This was made possible with new additions to the event such as Storyland that created an exciting platform for families to learn and play. We are excited to bring Storyland to the heartlands this year.'

In conjunction with World Water Day, Public Utilities Board (PUB) and SmartKids Asia will also present a colouring contest for children aged 4 to 9 years old. Contest participants will be entitled to a SmartKids Asia official goodie bag worth $50 and a chance to win prizes worth up to $500.

Upon completion of its heartland tours, SmartKids Asia will hold its main event on 16-18 March at Singapore Expo Hall 6 where families can expect new attractions such as Sensory Art Trail - an imaginatively curated space to captivate the five senses, and Learning Pavilion - a dedicated area for children to learn from new and leading education and enrichment providers
