ST Engineering's Electronics Arm Injects Additional Capital Into Subsidiary, ST Electronics (Data Centre Solutions) Pte. Ltd.

Singapore, 16 April 2014 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that its electronics arm, Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited  (ST Electronics), through its wholly owned subsidiary ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) Pte. Ltd. (STEE-InfoSoft), has increased the capital of its wholly owned subsidiary, ST Electronics (Data Solution Centre Solutions) Pte. Ltd. (STEE-DCS), by S$0.5m through a conversion of existing loans extended by STEE-InfoSoft. 

This capitalisation exercise will enable STEE-DCS to participate in tenders for larger projects in audit, design, build and hosting of data centres. This exercise will bring STEE-InfoSoft's total share capital contribution in STEE-DCS to S$1.5m. 

 This capital injection is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of ST Engineering for the current financial year.
