Reference is made to the announcement of Sinofert Holdings Limited (the "Company") dated 22 August 2016.

The Company wishes to announce that on 24 August 2016, Sinochem Fertilizer Company Limited ("Sinochem Fertilizer"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, completed the issuance of the third tranche of the super & short-term commercial paper for the year of 2016 in an amount of RMB1 billion, with a term of 266 days and at a coupon rate of 2.90% per annum. The proceeds from the issuance of the third tranche of the super & short-term commercial paper for the year of 2016 will be used to replenish the working capital and repayment of loans of the Company.
