Sioen Industries specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of technical textiles and related products. Net sales (not including sold divisions) break down by family of products as follows:
- technical textiles (58.3%): extruded fibers, woven fabrics, and coated fabrics (No. 1 worldwide);
- protective clothing (29.9%): professional clothing and casual wear (water-proof, fire-proof and light fabrics, etc.) mainly marketed under the following brands: Flexothane, Siopor, Mullion, SDS, and Baleno.
- chemical products (11.8%): pigment pastes, inks, varnishes, colored powders, etc.
Net sales (not including sold divisions) are distributed geographically as follows: Belgium (11%), France (18.7%), Germany (18.3%), Netherlands (7.4%), Great Britain (6.7%), Italy (4.3%), Austria (2.6%), Switzerland (2.6%), Scandinavia (2.3%), Spain (1.9%), China (1.7%), Ireland (1%), the United States (0,7%) and other (20.8%).
