Sirona recently introduced the INTEGO, a flexible new treatment center that can be configured to meet the needs of very different users and sets high quality standards -for a reasonable price.

The INTEGO treatment center features a sturdy, self-contained design …

Bensheim. Sirona recently introduced the INTEGO, a new treatment center. The response has been very positive; more than 1,000 have now been produced in Bensheim. The 1,000th center recently left the factory. As customer feedback shows, one factor -"made in Germany" - was pivotal. "Made in Germany" means high quality, attractive design, good engineering, and comprehensive functionality. The new INTEGO treatment center shows exactly what this means at Sirona - passion for form, function, and attention to detail.

The treatment center is the key element of a dental treatment room; this is where the practice team works several hours every day. Important quality features that form the criteria for deciding to purchase a certain treatment center are optimal ergonomics, top functionality, easy operation, and good workmanship. Sirona meets these demands with its new INTEGO treatment center. INTEGO also incorporates all the features of the new generation of treatment centers that were introduced with the TENEO and continued with the SINIUS Unique chair design, future sustainability due to the modern operating concept with EasyTouch, integrated sanitization concept, and full networking capability are just a few examples.

Experience that goes one step further

Sirona has a great deal of experience in treatment centers. The first dental treatment center was produced by the company that would later become Sirona in 1892, and in 1956 the first Siemens dental treatment center was named Sirona. Since 1997, more than 130,000 treatment centers have been installed around the world.

Despite this experience, user feedback is always an additional force driving development For example, with respect to the materials used. Sirona has largely replaced steel with aluminum in the treatment centers, including the INTEGO. Aluminum is just as sturdy and durable, but quite a bit lighter. Aluminum can also be formed into almost any possible shape resulting in more flexibility in designing the products. They can be given an ergonomic and esthetic design to meet customers' needs and demands. This also applies to the high-tech synthetic materials used in the injection molding process. Grooves and crevices where dust and germs could collect are reduced to a minimum. Parts that dentists, assistants, or patients come into contact with can be easily disinfected thanks to the smooth surfaces. This gives modern treatment centers a clear advantage in hygiene and they can be used for a long time. This gives you long-term protection for your investment.

Testing for highest quality

The durability of the materials and the constant availability of the functions are the features that make the treatment center stand out in a dentist's daily practice routine.. To ensure this, Sirona conducts intensive, comprehensive tests. The testers also subject the model to extensive testing in practices all around the world. The results of these wide-ranging tests are applied to the product development process. Only after the model has passed all tests in the various categories is it ready for serial production.

From the start of the INTEGO project back in early 2011 through to the market launch in May 2014, around 60 Sirona employees spent more than 1,000 days designing, developing, planning, testing, and producing this product. The 1,000th INTEGO, which recently left the production plant in Bensheim, confirms Sirona's claim to set the highest standards for quality.

At the IDS, Sirona is looking forward to receiving many international visitors, who will experience the INTEGO live for the first time.

Due to the different approval and registration times, not all products are immediately available in all countries.
