New features for Sky Go and Snap - for an even better user experience

-"Bookmarking" function: Continue watching your favourite program exactly at the point where you left off
- "Recently Watched" function: Overview of all the recently viewed titles
- With Sky Go and Snap, Sky offers the leading online pay TV services in Germany and Austria

Unterföhring, 5 August 2014 - Sky is expanding its leading online pay TV services Sky Go and Snap to include two additional features that make life even easier for film and series fans. Customers with Sky Go and Snap can make use of the "Bookmarking" function on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. This app makes note of when pro-gramming stops and allows users to resume watching at exactly the same point - even if the app was ended in the interim. This allows to interrupt and restart any number of films and series multiple times.

In addition, the "Recently Watched" section gives users an overview of the last 50 titles that were viewed - across devices and platforms. This feature especially comes in handy for long seasons of a series. It also allows parents to keep an eye on the titles their children are watching.

Peter Schulz, Vice President On Demand Programming at Sky Deutschland: "We are improving the usability of our streaming services again and make the interface even more customer-friendly. With our unique combination of top quality programming and product innovations, we meet the increasing interest in on demand content and offer our customers the best entertainment experience."

With Sky Go and Snap, Sky offers the leading online television services in Germany and Austria. Usage continues to increase, as shown by the 24 million Sky Go customer sessions in the first quarter of 2014 alone, as well as 2.3 million views of the HBO hit "Game of Thrones" between April and July 2014.

The update will be available in the course of the day.
