Sky and Unipart Technology Logistics (UTL) were presented with the 'Best Business Partnership' award at last night's National Recycling Awards in London.

These awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the recycling and resource management sector and the 'Best Business Partnership' category recognises collaborative achievements in transforming recycling practices. The key focus of our work with UTL is our set-up box take-back initiative, where 100% of products returned are refurbished or recycled, with nothing sent to landfill. Over the course of our partnership, UTL have developed efficient pick up and drop off processes that save fuel and emissions, worked with us on reusable packaging and supported Sky Rainforest Rescue which aims to help save one billion trees in the Amazon.

Receiving the award, Giles Harvey, Sky Supply Chain Director, said: "Sky is delighted to be recognised for its work with long standing partner UTL in reducing resource waste. Sky continues to introduce new products and services, and we look to UTL for operational excellence and innovation to ensure we deliver the best experience for customers, in the most sustainable way possible."
