Sallie Mae – the nation’s saving, planning, and paying for college company – will be recruiting for a variety of positions at the Philly Veterans Career Fair on Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. aboard the Battleship New Jersey, which is located on the Camden, N.J., riverfront at 100 Clinton St. Forty companies are participating in the fair, and approximately 300 active duty military servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses are expected to attend.

Talent acquisition specialists from Sallie Mae will be on hand to discuss a wide range of career opportunities and conduct on-the-spot interviews. The company’s current openings include jobs in information technology, customer service, internal audit, finance, vendor management, corporate security, risk management, quality control, human resources, and loan servicing. Organized by Veteran Recruiting, the Philly Veterans Career Fair is open to all active-duty military servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses who are interested in working in the Greater Philadelphia area. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance, upload their profiles to a website to which the on-site recruiters will have access, and schedule interviews.
