21st December, 2017 - Global parking business Smart Parking Limited (ASX:SPZ)

(Smart Parking' or 'the Company') Following the recent contract announcements with Hobart and Hamilton City Councils, Smart Parking is pleased to announce it has received a formal letter of intent from the City of Adelaide to provide Smart Parking sensors, smart phone guidance and payment application and maintenance services. The company will make a further announcement when the contract has been executed.

Adelaide is home to over three quarters of the population of South Australia, and the deployment of 2,800 Smart Parking sensors will help the city make parking more accessible, as well as giving residents real-time data on available parking spaces through its guidance and payment app.

Under the contract, Smart Parking will also provide maintenance services for a period of 5 years.

The smart parking programme is a key initiative of the City of Adelaide's ongoing Smart City agenda. Smart Parking is delighted to be on board to help support the city's aspirations of reducing congestion, cutting emissions and reinventing the parking experience in Adelaide.
