Software AG (Frankfurt TecDAX: SOW) and its University Relations department announced the inclusion of American universities within its fourth annual global universities idea contest for CeBIT, one of the world’s leading business IT events. Students and faculty from universities are invited to submit creative proposals for a showcase project to be presented at CeBIT 2015.

The Software AG product suite, developed and distributed worldwide, helps organizations achieve their business objectives faster – enabling companies to increase their efficiency, modernize their systems and optimize processes. Now, students and faculty throughout the United States and globally are being called upon to develop a compelling model that demonstrates the benefits of Software AG’s portfolio. Submitted projects should highlight Software AG’s technology and present the software’s potential with regard to big data, integration and business process management in a real model scenario.

The winning showcase project proposal will receive up to $10,000 to fund the creation for their showcase. The model will be displayed at the Software AG booth at CeBIT 2015, held March 16-20, and will be presented to the CeBIT audience by the students. This year’s contest is now open, and interested parties can register by emailing university@softwareag.com. Additionally, final concepts must be submitted by October 31, 2014 and winners will be notified on November 3, 2014.

For all other information, conditions, application forms and to see projects that have already made it to CeBIT, please go to the CeBIT Idea Contest website.
