(CHARLOTTE, NC - August 19, 2016) South State Bank announced that Lauri V. Mumford has been named vice president and mortgage loan officer for its Charlotte office.

Prior to joining South State, Mumford was a mortgage broker with Fisher Mortgage / First Trust Mortgage for 19 years.

Mumford is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting and Media Advertising.

An active member of the community, Mumford serves on the Family Services Committee and Family Selection Committee for Habitat for Humanity.
