South State : Sara Murchison Joins South State Bank

(WILMINGTON, SC- June 3, 2016) South State Bank announced that Sara A. Murchison has joined its Wilmington region as a vice president and private banker at the bank's Military Cutoff office located at 1117 Military Cutoff Road.

With 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Murchison has worked with both large banks and local community banks.

A 19-year resident of Wilmington, Murchison is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

Murchison is a volunteer with the Brigade Boys & Girls Club working with the Back Pack Campaign and the Christmas Stocking Drive. She is also a past president of The Optimist Club of Brunswick County and is an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Murchison also volunteers her time providing free tutoring to elementary students.
