Alabama Power, Southern Company crews leave BHM Airport Saturday morning to assist in Puerto Rico storm recovery Media Advisory

What: Alabama Power crews, along with crews from Alabama Power sister
companies, will be leaving via charter aircraft to assist in the restoration
of electric service in Puerto Rico.

Media is invited to videotape the crews as they board the charter flight
from Birmingham to Puerto Rico. An Alabama Power team leader who is
part of the group will be available for interviews.

When: Saturday, Jan. 20, 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Because of flight scheduling,
the availability will end promptly at 10:15 a.m.

Where: Atlantic Aviation BHM East, 4725 65th Place North, 35206

Directions: From downtown Birmingham: Take I-20/59 West to I-59 North toward
Gadsden. Take exit 131 at Oporto-Madrid Boulevard. Turn left onto 77th Street
and then a slight right onto 75th Street. Turn left onto 47th Avenue North
and then right onto East Lake Boulevard. Turn left onto 65th Place North.
Destination will be on the right.
