Southwest Airlines Operational Planners are carefully tracking the movement of Winter Storm Stella.

As of 1 PM CDTtoday Southwest Airlines has proactively canceled more than 1300 flights systemwide for Monday, March 13 through Wednesday March 15.

Our main focus is on the Safety of our Customers and Employees, while making sure our flights operate safely to their destinations.

Operational planners at Southwest are coordinating with our Meteorologists to track the progress of the storm and evolve our Customer accommodation policies, which are already being updated on our website at this link.

City-specific cancelation numbers can be calculated by visiting the websites of the individual airports. We have city fact sheets that provide general information about our destinations served, number of daily flights, facilities, and employment numbers.
