Request for Voluntary Suspension

Spectrum Rare Earths Limited ("SPX") requests Voluntary Suspension in trading of the Company's shares, pending the release of an announcement in relation to the issue of a prospectus for a nominal capital raising.

The company plans to lift the suspension by the lodgement of the prospectus, possibly before the commencement of trading on Wednesday 31st May 2017.

SPX is not aware of any reasons why this request for voluntary suspension should not be granted.
