(April 24, 2014) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today announced that it is starting new service between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and two new cities - Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) starting on August 1, 2014.

As a result of the addition of these new nonstop flights, Spirit will offer ultra-low fare connecting service to several cities in Central America, including San Pedro Sula, Honduras; Managua, Nicaragua; Panama City, Panama; and San Jose, Costa Rica, along with connections to other domestic and international locations.
