Armed with a 4 Star Green Star rating, the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (new RAH) is committed to reducing energy, water and waste in its operations. But how is the new RAH Facility Management team ensuring it meets or, better yet, exceeds energy and sustainability expectations?

Spotless Energy and ESD Manager, Nick Stokoe, will share his insights at the OandMs Institute of Hospital Engineering, Australia Healthcare Facilities Management Conference on October 19 at Adelaide Oval.

Nick's presentation will outline the importance of designing and constructing an energy efficient building. It will then examine how developers need to successfully embed good energy, water and waste management practices into daily operation in order to achieve sustained energy efficiency.

He will also discuss the significant impact human behaviour and culture will have on achieving the new RAH's goal of becoming Australia's largest and most energy efficient healthcare facility.
