Puritan's Pride is a subsidiary of NBTY, the nation's largest manufacturer of nutritional supplements through sales. Since 1998, Puritan's Pride has been selling products through Puritan.com in addition to a robust catalog business, which features a list of 1.3 million subscribers. The company distributes many well-known brands, including Balance Bar and Osteo-Bi Flex.
In good economies and in bad, people continue to seek ways to stay healthy. With the core of its customer base coming from the Baby Boomer generation, Puritan's Pride has been working to target their children-Millennials.
