National housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes, has reported a record year of sales across its sites in the UK, including substantial sales success at its Meon Vale development in Long Marston near Stratford-upon-Avon.

Overall, the award-winning housebuilder has seen its total sales double across its sites during the past 12 months.

At Meon Vale - which launched earlier this year - St. Modwen Homes has now sold 90% of the properties, with just one apartment remaining for sale.

To celebrate this success, the housebuilder is offering a special Christmas treat to anyone that reserves a new home at Meon Vale between 15 December 2014 and 2 January 2015. As well as fitting carpets throughout the new home, St. Modwen Homes will also be giving away the choice of £500 to spend at a local spa, Sainsbury's or Homebase.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: "Thanks to increasing confidence within the property market, St. Modwen Homes has gone from strength to strength this year, achieving double the sales across all of our developments in the UK compared to 2013. Additionally, visitor levels have more than tripled across our sites.

"Anyone looking to start their new year with a new home in the Stratford-upon-Avon area is in a perfect position to take advantage of our Christmas offer, with carpets provided throughout and a gift of £500 to spend on pampering yourself at a local spa or to help furnish your new home at either Sainsbury's or Homebase. What's more, until the 25 December, we'll also be offering people the chance to have the Stamp Duty paid on certain plots."

Currently, there is a one maisonette available to purchase at Meon Vale which is priced at just £168,950. Conveniently located, the two bedroom apartment-style homes are central to Meon Vale and are within easy walking distance of the new retail units, café, community centre and Meon Vale Leisure Centre that have been delivered by St. Modwen at the development.

In keeping with St. Modwen Homes' design led properties, all the maisonettes boast a feature bay window in the living room, as well as larger than average windows and higher ceilings throughout the apartments, allowing light to flood through the space. Additionally, each of the apartments benefit from an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and have been designed with high quality fixtures and fittings, including designer kitchens and contemporary bathrooms.
