Following the launch of the second phase at Branston Leas, St. Modwen Homes has seen huge levels of interest, selling 18 homes in the first four weeks alone.

Half of the homes sold have been the larger four bedroom houses, demonstrating the increased demand for high quality family homes in the local area. Nearly one third of these purchasers have also taken advantage of St. Modwen Homes' Assisted Move scheme, whereby the housebuilder helps sell the purchaser's existing property.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: 'We're incredibly pleased with the reaction we've had to our new homes at Branston Leas. These are the first family homes at the development and include seven new house types for Branston Leas, including the debut of our five bedroom Cuthbert property.

'Our first phase at Branston Leas sold exceptionally well and it's fantastic to see that this high demand has continued into our second phase.'

Last weekend, St. Modwen Homes opened the doors to two new show homes at Branston Leas; the Hannington and Barlow, both of which are four bedroom detached houses. Proving incredibly popular, three of the Barlow homes were reserved on the same weekend that the show home was launched.

A characterful house, the Barlow combines timber with white render to create a beautiful property with plenty of kerb appeal. Inside, the house boasts an open plan kitchen, dining and family room with French doors leading out to the rear garden, as well as a private study and spacious living room. Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from both walk in wardrobes and a stylish en suite.

Bev said: 'There's a great community atmosphere at Branston Leas, with residents making the most of the newly opened shops at Branston Square as well as helping to plant new trees in the 82 acre bluebell wood that is currently being delivered. Additionally, being located just off the A38 means homeowners have easy access to Derby and further afield.'

When complete, the second phase will comprise 204 new homes, including a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom properties. Currently, St. Modwen Homes has a range of three and five bedroom homes for sale.

Branston Leas forms part of a larger regeneration project by St. Modwen which includes a collection of shops, car park and community garden being delivered at Branston Square, a new sports pavilion at Clays Lane Park, Burton Gateway business park and Branston Leas Wood which, when complete, will boast in excess of 20,000 trees and be part of The National Forest.

St. Modwen Homes is the housebuilding brand of St. Modwen, the UK's leading regeneration specialist.
