Meon Vale Business Park development in Stratford-upon-Avon is 100% occupied after automotive group Ford expanded its occupancy at the St. Modwen-owned site.

Ford Retail has expanded its presence at the Business Park by taking 75,000 sq ft space on a 10 year lease. The company has also increased its storage land to 21 acres to enable the growth of its storage, servicing and administration facility for pre-registered vehicles.

Ford Retail is the latest occupier to cement its presence at Meon Vale Business Park, along with tenants Wanzl, XPO Logistics, Premier Components and Paul Matthew Transport who have been tenants for many years, highlighting the ongoing popularity of the development. 175 people are now directly employed onsite, with the total rental income of the fully-occupied business park achieving over £2m per annum.

Meon Vale Business Park provides over 800,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse buildings, whilst benefitting from planning consent for approximately 860,000 sq ft of distribution, office and warehouse accommodation supplemented by open storage land.

The estate forms part of St. Modwen's wider 470 acre Meon Vale regeneration scheme, and represents a £100m investment by the UK's leading regeneration specialist to create a truly mixed-use development including housing a leisure centre and village hall, convenience store, football and cricket pitches, public open space and woodland.

The site has planning permission in place for up to 1,050 homes and a new primary school, with more than 292 homes completed by St. Modwen Homes and Persimmon and work underway on 82 further new homes.
