Standard Chartered PLC : StanChart Agrees With NY On External Monitor

Standard Chartered PLC (SNTDF) has agreed to a demand by the New York Department of Financial Services that it hire an outside monitor to ensure compliance with U.S. anti-money laundering laws, Bloomberg News reported on its website Monday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The external party has yet to be decided, Bloomberg reported.
