Helen Platis has joined Stantec as vice president of client development. Helen brings more than 20 years of general management experience working with small and large organizations across the public and private sector.

Based in Stantec's Toronto office, Helen will work to develop an end-to-end customer experience in Stantec's power sector to help seamlessly deliver the company's multiple services to power clients.

Prior to joining Stantec, Helen served as general manager for SKY Solar Canada, a global independent power producer. In that role, she was responsible for direct management of sales, marketing, business development, and operations. Among those tasks, she established the company's North American Head Office in Toronto. In addition, she has held senior executive positions with Duke Energy and Centrica PLC/Direct Energy. Helen holds a Master's Degree in economics from the University of Toronto and an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management in Toronto. Most recently, she completed Rotman's Director's Education Program, earning the Institute of Corporate Director's (ICD.D) certification.
