London, 12 November, 2015 - State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), announced today the winners of the 14th annual State Street UK Institutional Press Awards in recognition of outstanding performance in institutional financial services reporting.

Launched in 2002, the State Street Institutional Press Awards was the first of its kind in the UK. Building on the success of previous years, the 2015 Awards honour the contributions of journalists covering institutional investment, pensions, and investor services & technology themes over the past year.

Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry professionals led by Charles Batchelor, a veteran financial journalist who now works freelance, and financial services freelance writer Julian Marr. The two lead judges were supported by respected figures from European financial services industry including; Malcolm McLean, OBE, consultant, Barnett Waddingham; Lindsay Tomlinson, board member, Legal & General; Gill Wadsworth, freelance journalist; Lynn Strongin Dodds, freelance journalist and Louisa Bojesen, CNBC anchor.

The journalists were honoured at a luncheon in London hosted by Jeff Conway, chief executive officer EMEA, State Street. 'We congratulate all shortlisted journalists and winners. The awards continue to gain in popularity within the industry with an impressive 167 entries submitted this year. The quality of reporting in the Institutional Press Awards showcases the vital role media plays a vital role in covering, analysing and debating complex issues in the global financial industry.'
