State Street : Appoints Young Kyu Rim to Branch Manager for Korea

State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT), today announced the appointment of Young Kyu Rim as head of State Street Global Markets and Global Services Korea.

Based in Seoul, Rim is responsible for managing the overall operations, governance, strategy, business development and client relationships for State Street's Korea branch. She has a dual reporting line to Ian Martin, head of State Street Global Markets and Global Exchange Asia Pacific, and Andrew Erickson, head of State Street Global Services Asia Pacific, both of whom are based in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining State Street, Rim has worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) for 28 years, where she was most recently a managing director and country head of Korea.

Rim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Ewha Womans University.
