Stolt-Nielsen Limited Completes Bond Issues
London, England - March 9, 2012 - Stolt-Nielsen Limited
(Oslo Břrs: SNI) announced today the successful placement
of a NOK 400 million (USD 70 million equivalent) three-year
senior unsecured bond issue and a NOK 600 million (USD 105
million equivalent) six-year senior unsecured bond issue in
the Norwegian market.
The settlement date is expected to be March 19, 2012 for
both bond issues and the maturity dates are March 19, 2015
and March 19, 2018 for the three-year and six-year bonds,
respectively. An application will be made for listing
the bonds on the Oslo Stock Exchange as soon as possible.
The Company has swapped the bond issues into USD
obligations at a fixed interest rate of 5.11% for the
three-year bonds and 6.785% for the six-year bonds.
Net proceeds from the bond issues will be used to repay
debt and for general corporate purposes.
DNB Markets, Nordea Markets and Swedbank First Securities
acted as joint lead managers for the bond issues.
