LAFAYETTE, La., Nov. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stone Energy Corporation (NYSE: SGY) ("Stone") today announced that it has priced an offering of $475 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.500% Senior Notes due 2022 (the "Additional Senior Notes"), representing an increase of $75 million over the amount Stone initially announced. The Additional Senior Notes are being offered as additional notes to Stone's outstanding $300 million aggregate principal amount of 7.500% Senior Notes due 2022, which Stone sold in a public offering in November 2012.

The Additional Senior Notes will be issued at a price equal to 103.00% of the principal amount thereof, resulting in a yield to worst of 6.949%.

Stone intends to use substantially all of the net proceeds from the offering to fund its pending tender offer and consent solicitation for its existing 8.625% Senior Notes due 2017, with the remaining proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes. Stone expects to close the offering on November 27, 2013, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
