Senior security executives can interact and share their opinions on the state of cyber security at the second annual cyber security summit sponsored by Stonesoft, a McAfee Group Company and T.E.N., a national technology and security executive networking organization. The event, renamed Cyberstrat13 New York City, is scheduled for September 24 at the Westin Times Square.

The keynote presentation will be from John Pescatore, SANS Director of Emerging Security Trends and previously Gartner's lead security analyst for 13 years. Matthew Rosenquist, Strategic Security Planner for Intel Corporation, is slated to discuss recent trends, solutions and opportunities in cyber security. Breakout discussion groups follow the presentations.

"The strategies for securing every organization must change constantly to respond to the rapidly growing cyber threats," says Richard Benigno, senior vice president of Stonesoft North America. "We must facilitate sharing of ideas and successes among the leaders of IT security through events like Cyberstrat13 in order to encourage greater resiliency, responsiveness and recognition of the threat landscape."
Key topics planned for breakout sessions include trends in convergence of solutions; managing complexity of enterprise networks; resiliency and response in the face of increasingly sophisticated threat landscape; and solving virtual security across cloud-based networks.
