By Helsinki, Finland - 6 August 2012 - Mr. Mika Yletyinen has been appointed Vice President, Europe and Global Channel and a member of the Executive Management Team at Stonesoft Corporation as of today. Mr. Yletyinen's main areas of responsibility will be sales and marketing in Europe as well as the global channel. He will report to Juha Kivikoski, Chief Operating Officer at Stonesoft.
Mika Yletyinen joins Stonesoft from Tieto Corporation, where he has acted as Vice President, Global Strategic Accounts and Connected Devices Sales. Prior to joining Tieto Corporation in 2009, Yletyinen was with Nokia Siemens Networks and Nokia Networks, where he held multiple sales and marketing positions from 1992 to 2008. He has been located in several countries in Asia and Europe.
Mr. Yletyinen brings to Stonesoft 20 years of international experience in strategic and business leadership, vast experience in telecom sector, IT services and consulting sales for finance and industry, among others. He has deep expertise in B2B marketing and complex solution sales for large organizations at CxO level.
