SES: an E-commerce Awards 2015 finalist!
Store Electronic Systems (Euronext: SESL, FR0010282822), the leading supplier of electronic shelf labels (ESL) for large-scale food and non-food retailers, announces that it has been selected for the final of the E-Commerce Awards 2015, whose ceremony will be held on September 21, 2015 at a gala evening organized as part of Paris Retail Week.
Comexposium, the organizer of Paris Retail Week, which brings together the E-Commerce and Digital In-Store shows, today revealed the finalists of the E-commerce Awards 2015. SES has been selected in the "POS Digitization" category for its innovation produced in collaboration with BudgetBox and STIME, the computing arm of the Mousquetaires grouping. This innovation offers consumers a completely new shopping experience at the new Intermarché store in Issy-les-Moulineaux, namely a contact-free self-scanning application that includes personalized coupons. The application uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology incorporated within SES' NFC electronic labels. Shoppers can add to their shopping basket directly on their smartphone by holding it near the label, benefit instantly from dedicated and contextualized discount vouchers, know at all times the running total of their purchases and go through the checkout without unloading their basket.
The E-commerce Awards seek to identify promising players and innovations likely to bring to the market effective answers that address the concerns of e-merchants, retailers and, more generally, brands. This selection distinguishes the most outstanding companies and innovations of the year. It reflects the new needs of a market focused on smarter and more connected experiential retail.
