Strayer University, a national leader in innovative educational programming for working adults, launched a new Bachelor of Applied Science in Management program. This new 180 quarter credit hour curriculum will be available to all online and on-ground students. The program is offered in 43 states and pending regulatory approval in several others.

The Bachelor of Applied Science program is designed for students who already have a technical or allied health associate’s degree. The program allows students to develop and master management skills like critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making, allowing them to become better leaders in their respective fields. Additionally, the program awards credit, where possible, for students’ practical skills and years of industry experience across technical and allied health fields.

Associate students can transfer up to 126 quarter credit hours toward their Bachelor of Applied Science degree, including the required 54 quarter credit hours that must be transferred from an applied science field.

“Our students want to advance their careers and improve their lives, and we’re confident this program will allow working professionals in technical fields, from health care technicians, to HVAC experts, to automotive employees, to do just that,” said Nicole Morris, Dean of Curriculum, Strayer’s School of General Education and Professional Studies. “And with the number of credits that can be transferred into this program, our students may be able to translate their previous work and industry experience into credit hours towards their degree.”
