STV brings a bit of sunshine to these cold and frosty nights with a brand new six part series - Scottish Passport 2012, starting 8pm on Monday 2 January.

Narrated by Karen Gillan (Doctor Who), the series will see a host of celebrities travel to a range of holiday locations across the world.  With a range of holidays covered, there's something for everyone in this wide-reaching travel show.

Writer and broadcaster Paul English also travels across Europe to bring us top travel tips and a weekly update on a range of destinations from Ibiza to Barcelona, Marbella to Tenerife.

Week by week on Scottish Passport 2012:

Episode 3
Antiques Road Trip expert Anita Manning and daughter Larissa enjoy a girl's city break in stunning Iceland; and we'll show you what's on offer in the sophisticated South of France.  Fancy a mobile adventure closer to home - find out how a young couple get on Gypsy Caravanning in the Scottish Borders.

Episode 4

Episode 5
Actress and presenter Clare Grogan and her family head to Morocco; and whether you want peace and quiet or a party holiday, we bring you the best of Ibiza.  If you fancy a getaway with a bit of exercise, join our two hill walking friends as they take the Jacobite Railway and walk in Mallaig.

Episode 6

Elizabeth Partyka, Deputy Director of Channels at STV, said: "Sean Batty said we were in for a bit of a frosty time so we thought we'd bring STV viewers some sunny locations to heat things up a bit this winter.  The show also covers a range of city breaks and holidays closer to home so there really is something for everyone.  If you're not going on holiday, you can enjoy them vicariously through our enthusiastic celebrities - and you might even be encouraged to take a trip yourself."
