Nov. 10--HINSDALE -- A Winchester woman was taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital with minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash on Route 119 Thursday morning, Hinsdale police said.
The crash occurred around 10:50 a.m. on Route 119 near Prospect Street.
A Tucker Transportation Dodge Caravan driven by Sharon Rouse hit a Chevrolet minivan, Hinsdale police Lt. David Eldridge said. That collision caused the minivan to strike a Subaru that was ahead on the road.
Thomas O'Connor, business manager at the Hinsdale School District, said the district uses Tucker Transportation, but no children were in the van at the time of the crash.
The Dodge Caravan and the Chevrolet were both totaled, while the Subaru received minor damage, he said.
Rouse was taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for back injury, Eldridge said. There were no other injuries, according to Eldridge. The names of the other drivers were not available.
Three Hinsdale police officers and three Hinsdale firefighters responded to the scene, according to Eldridge, who said the road was closed for about 30 minutes following the crash.
No further information was available from police this morning.
