Located near Le Havre, France, the ECOSTU'AIR Waste-to-Energy Recovery Unit, that belongs to SEVEDE and operated by SUEZ, supplies enough green energy to the industrial TEREOS to almost cover 70% of its energy needs

This morning on the TEREOS site, Florent Saint Martin, the President of SEVEDE (Syndicate for the Elimination and Energy Reuse of Waste in the Seine Estuary) which collects and transforms the household waste from six municipalities of the Seine Estuary into energy), Philippe Maillard, Executive Vice-President of SUEZ's recycling and recovery activities in Europe, Yves Belegaud, the European Director of TEREOS, and Fabrice Legentil, the Regional Director of ADEME, the French environmental and energy agency, for the Haute-Normandie region, inaugurated the 3km green steam network that connects the ECOSTU'AIR Waste-to-Energy Recovery Unit to the nearby plant operated by TEREOS, the world's third biggest sugar producer.

One year after SEVEDE decided to renew its industrial partnership with SUEZ for the operation of the ECOSTU'AIR waste-to-energy recovery unit in Lillebonne, near Le Havre (76), green steam is now producing to supply renewable and local energy to the nearby TEREOS industrial site.
