César joined Sulzer in 1977. After his first assignment in Venezuela, he moved to Houston, Texas, USA, as an applications engineer in 1985 and became the Regional Manager of the Andean Countries in 1987. Later, César became Managing Director of Sulzer Venezuela, Sulzer Mexico and Regional Manager for Sulzer South America. In 2002, he was appointed President of the North America Region and became President of Sulzer Metco in 2008. Since June 2014, César has headed the Pumps Equipment division for Sulzer and has been the driving force behind its transformation.

César's leadership and innovation has kept Sulzer ahead of its pump competitors and the company is indebted to him for his drive and dedication.

Michael Streicher will succeed César on January 1, 2018, as Division President Pumps Equipment and Sulzer Executive Committee member. Michael Streicher joined Sulzer in 1994 in Germany as an engineer. He became General Manager of the German pump service business in 1998 and was appointed Managing Director of Sulzer Pumps Germany in 2007. Michael moved to Winterthur in 2011 as Director of Wastewater Solutions. In June 2014, he was appointed Head of the Power and Spare Parts Business Units, and since June 2016, Michael has been Vice President of the EMEA region for the Rotating Equipment Services division.
