Santa Rosa, CA - (November 3, 2015) - Summit State Bank (NASDAQ: SSBI) has promoted Marjorie Peterson and Charlene Richman to Assistant Vice President. Peterson is the Senior Branch Operations Manager at the Bicentennial location in Santa Rosa and Richman is the Senior Branch Operations Manager in Petaluma.

Marjorie has been with Summit State Bank for 11 years. In addition to managing Operations at the Bicentennial Branch, she manages the Bank's Utility Staff. She holds an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science and is working to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Peterson also volunteers for Rebuilding Together Petaluma and Rohnert Park, the Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic, Crossing the Jordan events, and supports annual fundraisers for Rotary and the Alzheimer's Association.

Charlene has been with Summit State Bank for nine years and in the banking industry for 13 years. She is responsible for training the branches for the Bank, in addition to managing Operations at the Petaluma Branch. Richman volunteers for Petaluma Ecumenical Properties, Rebuilding Together Petaluma and Rohnert Park, Petaluma Animal Services Foundation and the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce.
