Suncorp Health Insurance hits the market

Suncorp has strengthened its diverse insurance offering in Australia with the release of a new private health insurance range.

The new product suite forms part of Suncorp's recently expanded partnership with nib health funds (nib), which Suncorp CEO of Customer Platforms Gary Dransfield said reinforced the company's commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of its customers.

"At Suncorp, we have always been proud to help our customers protect what matters most and now that includes their health," Mr Dransfield said.

"Our research tells us that while our priorities may change over time, health and wellbeing continue to be top of mind for Australians at all ages.

"Through our strengthened partnership with nib, our customers can now access a diverse range of Hospital Insurance Cover and Extras Insurance Cover options which can be tailored to support their unique needs and budgets.

"For example, the Basic Hospital package is suitable for single customers or families on a budget, while the Top Hospital package is designed for those seeking complete peace of mind."

Mr Dransfield said customers saw health insurance as a logical extension for Suncorp to complement their existing financial portfolio.

"This product suite further diversifies our product offering across insurance, banking and wealth, and strengthens our ability to meet more customer needs."
