Just in time for the start of the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang (South Korea), Swiss Sport is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with Sunrise. This puts Sunrise, the largest private tele-communications provider in Switzerland with products and services for all aspects of telecommunications, at the top level as a 'Premium Partner' of Swiss Olympic. This cooperation initially extends to the end of 2020.

'We are enormously pleased with this cooperation. Sunrise is a top-rank partner for us, with a strong commitment to Swiss sports,' says Swiss Sport Director Roger Schnegg. 'What's more, this cooperation with Sunrise is a perfect fit with our sponsoring strategy focusing on a small group of prominent partners.'

Christoph Timm, Director Brand Strategy & Marketing Communication at Sunrise, comments on the agreement: 'We are convinced that Swiss Olympic is an ideal fit with the Sunrise brand because we share the same Swiss values. With this commitment we can further highlight the favorable positioning of Sunrise with regard to Swiss sports and make it tangible for the general public. We are enormously pleased that Switzerland's best athletes will now be able to phone and surf on the best network in Switzerland. As The Unlimited Company, we are additionally looking for ways to eliminate potential job barriers so that we can also be modern top employer in the telecommunications industry for top athletes.'

Sunrise joins the existing 'Premium Partners' - Ochsner Sport, Rivella and Toyota - as the fourth company at the top partner level of Swiss Olympic.
